Mohbad’s Dad: I Dreamed of My Son’s Death Before It Happened

The heartbroken father of Nigerian singer Mohbad has revealed that he had a premonition of his son’s death two days before.

Mr Joseph Aloba told well-known content producer @og_baba1 that he saw someone trying to shoot him in his dream. He thought he had escaped the bullet, but Mohbad’s death has left him feeling like the bullet hit him instead.

Mohbad, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, and was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

In addition to his suspicion, Mr Aloba shared his last interaction with his son. He said he had visited Mohbad at his house on Saturday, and they had lunch together.

Mr Aloba said he had a close relationship with Mohbad, describing him as his “friend” rather than his son. He said they were very close, and Mohbad was always there for him.

Here is what his father said,

“Mohbad is my friend. I called him Oladimeji (meaning my second) because I’m the only son of my parents. We were close.

The last day we met which was last Saturday, I went there (Mohbad’s house) and we dined together. When I was leaving he also gave me some money like he always did.

I had a dream about him, two days before the incident. In the dream, I saw someone trying to shoot me. I thought I escaped the bullet not knowing something like this would happen to me.”

“According to what I heard from people, though I don’t believe was that an auxiliary nurse administered him an injection, and that could have led to anything.”
