Couple Arrested for Selling “Golden Tickets to Heaven”

Tito and Amanda Watts were arrested over the weekend for selling “golden tickets to heaven” to hundreds of people. The couple, who sold the tickets on the street for $99.99 per ticket, told buyers the tickets were made from solid gold and each ticket reserved the buyer a spot in heaven — simply present the ticket at the pearly gates and you’re in.“People can sell tickets to heaven,” a Jacksonville police spokesman said. “But the Watts misrepresented their product. The tickets were just wood spray painted gold with ‘Ticket To Heaven – Admit One’ written in marker. You can’t sell something as gold when it’s not. That’s where the Watts crossed the line into doing something illegal.”

Tito Watts said in his police statement:

I don’t care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… it ain’t cut up two by fours I spray painted gold. And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space. I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he’d take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that’s made entirely of crack cocaine. You can smoke all the crack cocaine there you want… totally free. So, try to send an innocent man to jail and see what happens. You should arrest Jesus because he’s the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I’m willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up…

Amanda Watts said in her police statement:

We just wanted to leave earth and go to space and smoke rock cocaine. I didn’t do nothing. Tito sold the golden tickets to heaven. I just watched.

Police said they confiscated over $10,000 in cash, five crack pipes and a baby alligator.

Saudi’s Deputy Crown Prince to meet Trump

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, seeking foreign investment in an economic reform plan, left for the US Monday to meet President Donald Trump, state media said.

Prince Mohammed will be the highest-ranking Saudi official to hold talks with Trump since the US leader took office in January.

The visit, which officially begins Thursday, focuses on the “strengthening of bilateral relations… and regional issues of mutual interest,” the Saudi Press Agency said.

Second in line to the throne, Prince Mohammed is the son of King Salman and holds the post of defence minister, although much of his focus is on economic issues.

He is the chief proponent of Vision 2030, a wide-ranging social and economic reform plan begun last year to diversify the oil dependent economy.

Washington and Riyadh have a decades-old relationship based on the exchange of American security for Saudi oil.

But ties became increasingly frayed during the eight-year administration of former president Barack Obama.

Saudi leaders felt Obama was reluctant to get involved in the civil war in Syria and was tilting towards Riyadh’s regional rival Iran.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir has expressed optimism that the Trump presidency will be more engaged in the region, particularly in containing Iran.

Saudi Arabia regularly accuses Iran of interfering in the affairs of its neighbours, particularly in Yemen where Tehran backs rebels fighting the internationally recognised government.

The US provides weapons, refuelling and intelligence support for a Saudi-led coalition helping Yemen’s government battle the Huthi rebels and their allies.

Prince Mohammed’s trip comes as King Salman, 81, is on an Asian tour lasting about one month and emphasising economic ties.

A foreign diplomat told AFP the king is travelling with a large cross-section of the royal family and the tour is seen by some as a way to help him build loyalty to Prince Mohammed.

Analysts have pointed to rivalry between Prince Mohammed and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, 56, the first in line to the throne who is also interior minister.

Iniubong after the acid bath

‘’I told her to leave that I would not open the door for her because we have parted ways. But she continued knocking on the door and begging me that she is stranded and needed a place to pass the night and nothing more. Reluctantly, I open the door; as soon as I opened she splashed the liquid on me, which turned out to be acid. I don’t know what I have done to her to deserve this ill treatment’’, lamented iniubong.

The victim, who is currently receiving treatment at the university of uyo teaching hospital, went further to narrate what led to this sad end of their love story, saying that both of them were in an intimate relationship for a year. But he decided to quit the relationship last year, when he noticed that Lucy was a troublesome person. ‘’Lucy was in the habit of igniting quarrels between us, she would accuse me of having affairs with other girls, we hardly had peace being together’’. Why Dating Extremely Beautiful Women Is Difficult

Men are visual creatures, and have an uncontrollable lust for women who are extremely striking.

Brother, stand up and be counted if you can fail to notice when she enters the mall and you are at the exit…

We are absolutely defenseless when we encounter such incredibly beautiful women!

However, here are reasons why 10/10 are difficult to blow up:

You have to worry about other guys sleeping with her

When dating a stunner woman, it doesn’t really matter if the trust levels between the two of you stand at 117 percent. There’s always that kakai-thing that scares the hell out of you – the imagination that she’s sprawling all that beauty on another man’s bed. But, think of this: quickly recollect how quick you were at asking for her number, can you even blame Kofi or Kwame for doing the same? There’s something biting, actually so bile, knowing basically everywhere your Diana or Princes goes, men formulate all sorts of excuses to talk to her. It kills inside, but very inescapable.

Problem dealing with her inflated ego

She knows she has the gravity of men’s eyes directed to her, and her big posteriors and knock-out curves are her ‘strongholds’.  I give it to the world for doing a great job in constantly reminding hot women how hot they are. She’s heard how gorgeous, stunning, beautiful… she is; since she was 15. When a woman is constantly showered with praises, the danger is she’s vulnerable to pumping up her ego; she sees she’s doing you a big favour being your girlfriend. If Bob Collymore can say hi to her, who are you?

You are often manipulated

This is a classical case of uneven power dynamics coming into play – she stands at a convincing 10/10 on beauty scale, and you at a weak 6/10. It’s one thing to try to please her, but honestly can ‘no’ be an option if you are dating Betty Kyalo or Nadia Buari? African women are good at blackmailing men to buy them serious cars, create getaways for them at Villa Rosa Kempinski, and have them flown to Belarus for holiday. Why? Simply because they are beautiful, and can effectively make you wet your pants when they say: ”Mahama’s son is pursuing them”. Hahaha!

People assume she is dating you for money

You are standing next to her at the gate of the newest mall in town, her bottom lip is pushed forward, full and shiny like a scarlet sausage, people are peeping through  windows just to see who is behind the strange goddess of beauty; the next topic of discussion will be you – “If not for money, will this girl follow this guy?” It doesn’t matter whether you are loaded or not; Ghanaians people love to gossip.

Heaviest Woman in the world airlifted for weight-loss Surgery

The heaviest woman in the world underwent successful weight-loss surgery, doctors announced Thursday.

The bariatric surgery was performed Tuesday in Mumbai on 1,000-plus-pound Eman Ahmed Abd El Aty, according to NDTV.

Abd El Aty, 36, had to be removed from her home in Alexandria, Egypt — which she hadn’t left in 25 years — with a crane.

She was then flown last month on a plane especially modified with safety gear, like a portable ventilator and defibrillator, to Saifee Hospital in India.

Doctors performed the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy only after Ahmed shed more than 220 pounds.

“She is now on oral fluids and accepting them well,” the hospital said in a statement. “The future course of action for the medical team working on her will be to correct all her associated medical problems, to get her fit enough to fly back to Egypt as soon as possible.”

Abd El Aty is expected to lose more weight in the coming months.

Bariatric surgery is typically a last resort for people who are dangerously obese.

Abd El Aty’s family told the BBC that she weighed 11 pounds at birth and was diagnosed with elephantiasis, a rare condition that causes body parts to severely swell because of parasites.

By age 11, she suffered a stroke and became bedridden, after her weight spiked.

One of the surgeons currently treating her, Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala, said he believed Abd El Aty had obsesity-related lymphedema, which also causes swelling, and not elephantiasis.

Must Read: What Happened to man with 2 Faces?

In the 19th century, there’s a noble man named Edward Mordake (Mordrake) who was born with unusual deformity. An extremely rare condition called diprosopus in which parts or all of the face are being duplicated on the head.

The origin of Edward Mordake’s story has been lost to history. His unusual case occurred early in medical history and only passed down through generations, mainly by re-telling. His story is still a mystery to modern researchers as no medicalrecords have been found, not even his date of birth and death are recorded.
There are many version of Mordake’s tale. However, it always begins the same way. It is said that Mordake was actually the heir of one of the noblest families in England. He was an intelligent, charming and good-looking man when viewed from the front…but on the back of his head lies a second face, twisted and evil.
Mordake’s existence was attested by the 1896 Medical Encyclopedia: AnomaliesandCuriosities of Medicine authored by Dr. George M. Gould and Dr. Walter L. Pyle. In the said publication, it is told that Edward’s extra face was a beautiful girl who couldn’t eat nor speak, but possessed its own intelligence and was quite malignant in its intentions. According to the legend his evil twin smiled and sneer while Edward was weeping and the eyes would follow the movements of people around him.

Ghanaian Pastors who Seem to be Fake

Jesus Christ warned his disciples to be wary of false prophets who he said would attempt to deceive them in the end times.

“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves,” he said.

This warning from has Christ has caused many Ghanaians to view certain pastors with cynicism and suspicion.

Here are some Ghanaian pastors who have been described as fake by a section of the Ghanaian public.

1. Bishop Daniel Obinim

The founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has been accused of being a fake in view of some actions of his which have been deemed ungodly.

They include sleeping with his junior pastor’s wife, beating up a radio presenter and claiming to possess the ability to spiritually transform into a snake and bite people.

Obinim has also told his congregation that he is an angel from heaven.

2. Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah

The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry is notorious for prophesying the deaths of popular figures in the country.

Owusu Bempah’s prophecies are often seen as distasteful by a section of the public, prompting questions as whether he is a real man of God. He also get into fights with his fellow pastors from time to time, exchanging insults with them.

3.Opambour (Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom)

The founder and leader of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre at Ahenema in Kumasi is another pastor who has been described as fake by some Ghanaians.

Opambour constantly gets into confrontations with other pastors and makes claims such as having raised people from the dead.

An audio of him insulting a presenter of Accra-based Adom FM, Adjoa Yeboa Asuama, emerged last year.

In that audio, he said his wife’s butt was nicer than the presenter’s face, sparking outrage in a section of the public.

4. Kumchacha

Pastor Nicholas Osei, popularly known as ‘Kum Chacha,’ the founder and leader of Heaven Gate Chapel, has also been described as a fake man of God.

He uses vulgar language and resorts to insults when preaching. His conduct prompted former president Rawlings to call him a false prophet.

“Many too often as we watch our TVs, I don’t think we are putting enough efforts into showcasing some of these cultural, traditional festivals – the activities that are going on around the countryside – and yet so much time is spent giving airtime, precious airtime to people like these two prophets I’ve been talking about of late: the one in Tema, called Obinim, and the other one called Kumchacha,” Rawlings said in an interview.

5. Rev. Chris Asante a.k.a Abruku Abruka

The founder of the Testimony House Chapel sells what he calls solution water to members of the public, claiming that the water can work miracles such as put money in people’s bank account, clear their bank debts and find them employment.

He says all they have to do is write a note of their problems on a sheet of paper and place it under the container.

His claims have prompted some members of the public to call him a fraud.

6. Pastor Boateng a.k.a Apae Live

Apae live, the general overseer of the Great Light Worship Center, has been criticised for performing what has been called outlandish miracles.

He once claimed he had made a barren woman instantly pregnant on live television.

Prostitutes are unhappy with 2017 Budget and this is why

It was expected that not the whole general population of Ghanaians were going to be satisfied with the provisions and allocations made in the 2017 budget read by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta in parliament last Thursday, but no one probably expected commercial sex workers to complain as well.

According to reports, some commercial sex workers are at the throat of government claiming the budget does not directly address problems in their business.

“We were expecting the government to remove taxes on the importation of condoms so that more people will get interested in the prostitution business,” president of prostitutes in Kumasi exclusively told mynewsgh.com.

“It is discriminatory that the budget captured head porters and left us; meanwhile, our work is more difficult. We all need government assistance to carry out our work.”

When asked what they expected from the government, she said, “If government announces free condoms for us, that one alone will make our work easier without fear of contracting any sexual transmitted diseases and also it will attract clients”

They told mynewsgh.com’s Kwabena Danso-Dapaah legalizing their work will help government to develop the nation through their taxes.

According to the president of the association, there are about two thousand prostitutes across the Ashanti Region alone.

They have therefore appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to heed to their concern by initiating a free distribution of condoms and also legalize prostitution so the work will be safe for them.
